Quem foi Rufo?
Rufo é mencionado em Rom.16.13 como um membro da comunidade cristã em Roma. Paulo o descreve como "eleito no Senhor", indicando que ele era um crente fiel e destacado. Paulo também envia saudações à mãe de Rufo, a quem ele diz ter sido como uma mãe para ele também. Isso sugere que Rufo e sua mãe tinham um relacionamento próximo com Paulo e haviam lhe demonstrado bondade e hospitalidade, possivelmente durante suas viagens missionárias.
