Description

Riblah in the text

In the words of STEPBible TIPNR:

Riblah is mentioned in the Bible as a place on the eastern border of the Promised Land, as described in the book of Numbers. It is listed between Shepham and the Sea of Chinnereth (Galilee) (Num. 34:11). The exact location of this Riblah is uncertain, but it was likely situated in the region east of the Jordan River, in modern-day Syria or Lebanon. It should not be confused with the more well-known Riblah in the land of Hamath, where the Babylonians set up their headquarters during their campaigns against Judah (2Ki. 23:33; 25:6, 20-21; Jer. 39:5-6; 52:9-10, 26-27).

The pattern

Where Riblah is named

Every book of the corpus in the order it is read, each as wide as the chapters it holds. A bar is the verses of that book which write the name, and the flat stretches are as much of the answer as the bars.

1 verse across 1 of 66 books; 65 write the name nowhere. Named in Numbers (1).

Riblah is named in 1 verse — occurrences of the name in the Hebrew or Greek, counted in the versification of the Berean Standard Bible (v5.7). Every book of the corpus is drawn, its width its share of the 1,189 chapters. 65 of the 66 books never write it. A verse that tells of this subject without writing the name is not counted here.
