The chapter
What happens here
Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
Jerusalem’s wall advances by neighbours, household by household, with one awkward gap: the Tekoite nobles keep their shoulders out of the work, while a ruler’s daughters join in and a sixth son appears without explanation.
Shoulder to shoulder, and not alwaysvv. 1–32
The work begins at the Sheep Gate with Eliashib and the priests, then passes from one adjoining crew to the next: Jericho, Zaccur, the sons of Hassenaah, Meremoth, Meshullam, Zadok, and onward through goldsmiths, perfumers, rulers, Levites, priests, temple servants, and merchants. It is a grand communal relay, so carefully measured that walls run to towers, gates, houses, pools, stairs, and even the doorway of Eliashib’s house.
And yet the catalogue has its small human jolts. The Tekoites repair their section, but “their nobles did not put their shoulders to the work under their supervisors.” Shallum works “with the help of his daughters,” a detail as homely as a hand laid on a gate-beam. Near the end, Hanun is introduced as “the sixth son of Zalaph”; the list offers no reason for counting him so precisely, but there he is, sixth son and wall-builder.
The circuit closes where it began, between the upper room above the corner and the Sheep Gate, with goldsmiths and merchants repairing the final stretch. The wall has been described almost brick by brick, yet its most memorable ornaments are a refusal, a family helping together, and one unexplained son in the sixth place.

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.

Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
