What happens here
Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
A cloud over the tabernacle can hold Israel in place for a month, or lift after one night; when it lifts, the people set out, whether by day or by night.
The Passover, with an exceptionvv. 1–14
In the first month of the second year, the LORD commanded Israel to keep the Passover in the Wilderness of Sinai, and Israel did so at twilight on the fourteenth day. Then some men, unclean because of a dead body, came before Moses and Aaron with the perfectly reasonable question of why they should be excluded. Moses waited for instructions, and the answer made room for the unclean and the traveller to keep the Passover in the second month, while requiring the clean man at home to keep it on time; the same statute applied to foreigner and native alike.
The cloud’s leisurely departuresvv. 15–23
When the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered it by day and appeared like fire by night. Israel’s travelling arrangements were wonderfully free of a timetable: the cloud might linger for two days, a month, or longer, or lift from evening until morning. The people camped at the LORD’s command and set out at the LORD’s command, which is a very exact way of travelling without knowing when the journey will begin.

Num 9:1In the first month of the second year after Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai:
Num 9:2“The Israelites are to observe the Passover at its appointed time.
Num 9:3You are to observe it at the appointed time, at twilight on the fourteenth day of this month, in accordance with its statutes and ordinances.”
Num 9:4So Moses told the Israelites to observe the Passover,
Num 9:5and they did so in the Wilderness of Sinai, at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Num 9:6But there were some men who were unclean due to a dead body, so they could not observe the Passover on that day. And they came before Moses and Aaron that same day
Num 9:7and said to Moses, “We are unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be excluded from presenting the LORD’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?”
Num 9:8“Wait here until I find out what the LORD commands concerning you,” Moses replied.
Num 9:10“Tell the Israelites: ‘When any one of you or your descendants is unclean because of a dead body, or is away on a journey, he may still observe the Passover to the LORD.
Num 9:11Such people are to observe it at twilight on the fourteenth day of the second month. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs;
Num 9:12they may not leave any of it until morning or break any of its bones. They must observe the Passover according to all its statutes.
Num 9:13But if a man who is ceremonially clean and is not on a journey still fails to observe the Passover, he must be cut off from his people, because he did not present the LORD’s offering at its appointed time. That man will bear the consequences of his sin.
Num 9:14If a foreigner dwelling among you wants to observe the Passover to the LORD, he is to do so according to the Passover statute and its ordinances. You are to apply the same statute to both the foreigner and the native of the land.’”
Num 9:15On the day that the tabernacle, the Tent of the Testimony, was set up, the cloud covered it and appeared like fire above the tabernacle from evening until morning.
Num 9:16It remained that way continually; the cloud would cover the tabernacle by day, and at night it would appear like fire.
Num 9:17Whenever the cloud was lifted from above the Tent, the Israelites would set out, and wherever the cloud settled, there the Israelites would camp.
Num 9:18At the LORD’s command the Israelites set out, and at the LORD’s command they camped. As long as the cloud remained over the tabernacle, they remained encamped.
Num 9:19Even when the cloud lingered over the tabernacle for many days, the Israelites kept the LORD’s charge and did not set out.
Num 9:20Sometimes the cloud remained over the tabernacle for only a few days, and they would camp at the LORD’s command and set out at the LORD’s command.
Num 9:21Sometimes the cloud remained only from evening until morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they would set out. Whether it was by day or by night, when the cloud was taken up, they would set out.
Num 9:22Whether the cloud lingered for two days, a month, or longer, the Israelites camped and did not set out as long as the cloud remained over the tabernacle; but when it was lifted, they would set out.
Num 9:23They camped at the LORD’s command, and they set out at the LORD’s command; they carried out the LORD’s charge according to His command through Moses.

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.
Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
