What happens here
Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
Elihu has so many words bottled up that his belly feels like unvented wine in a new wineskin, and speaking is the only available form of relief.
The younger man’s angervv. 1–5
Job’s three friends stop answering him because he remains righteous in his own eyes. Their silence does not settle matters; it kindles Elihu, son of Barachel the Buzite, who is angry both with Job for justifying himself rather than God and with the friends for condemning Job without refuting him. He has waited because they are older, but silence, having finally arrived, proves a poor muzzle.
Words under pressurevv. 6–22
Elihu explains his delay: youth made him timid, while age seemed entitled to speak first. Yet he says understanding comes from the spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, and not from grey years alone. He has listened closely and found that none of Job’s friends proved Job wrong, so he will not hide behind their arguments. The friends are dismayed and wordless; Elihu, by contrast, is full of words, compelled to let them out. His inner pressure receives a wonderfully physical description: unvented wine, a new wineskin, bursting. He promises neither partiality nor flattery, though the speech is already giving every sign of having been waiting behind a very small door.

Job 32:1So these three men stopped answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
Job 32:2This kindled the anger of Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram. He burned with anger against Job for justifying himself rather than God,
Job 32:3and he burned with anger against Job’s three friends because they had failed to refute Job, and yet had condemned him.
Job 32:4Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job because the others were older than he.
Job 32:5But when he saw that the three men had no further reply, his anger was kindled.
Job 32:6So Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite declared: “I am young in years, while you are old; that is why I was timid and afraid to tell you what I know.
Job 32:7I thought that age should speak, and many years should teach wisdom.
Job 32:8But there is a spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding.
Job 32:9It is not only the old who are wise, or the elderly who understand justice.
Job 32:10Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me; I too will declare what I know.’
Job 32:11Indeed, I waited while you spoke; I listened to your reasoning; as you searched for words,
Job 32:12I paid you full attention. But no one proved Job wrong; not one of you rebutted his arguments.
Job 32:13So do not claim, ‘We have found wisdom; let God, not man, refute him.’
Job 32:14But Job has not directed his words against me, and I will not answer him with your arguments.
Job 32:15Job’s friends are dismayed, with no more to say; words have escaped them.
Job 32:16Must I wait, now that they are silent, now that they stand and no longer reply?
Job 32:17I too will answer; yes, I will declare what I know.
Job 32:18For I am full of words, and my spirit within me compels me.
Job 32:19Behold, my belly is like unvented wine; it is about to burst like a new wineskin.
Job 32:20I must speak and find relief; I must open my lips and respond.
Job 32:21I will be partial to no one, nor will I flatter any man.
Job 32:22For I do not know how to flatter, or my Maker would remove me in an instant.’’

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.
Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
