Description

Rabbith in the text

In the words of STEPBible TIPNR:

Rabbith was a town located in the territory allocated to the tribe of Issachar during the division of the Promised Land under Joshua (Josh. 19:20). It is mentioned only once in the Bible, in the context of the cities and towns that were assigned to Issachar as part of their inheritance (Josh. 19:17-23). The exact location of Rabbith is uncertain, but it is believed to have been situated in the region of the Jezreel Valley, which was known for its fertile land and strategic importance. The Jezreel Valley was a major trade route and a key agricultural area in ancient Israel. The mention of Rabbith in the list of Issachar's towns highlights the allocation of specific territories to each of the twelve tribes of Israel, fulfilling God's promise to give them the land of Canaan as an inheritance. Although little is known about Rabbith beyond its name and general location, its inclusion in the biblical record serves to emphasize the orderly division of the land and the establishment of the tribes in their designated areas.

Where Rabbith is named

Every book of the corpus in the order it is read, each as wide as the chapters it holds. A bar is the verses of that book which write the name, and the flat stretches are as much of the answer as the bars.

Rabbith is named in 1 verse — occurrences of the name in the Hebrew or Greek, counted in the versification of the Berean Standard Bible (v5.7). Every book of the corpus is drawn, its width its share of the 1,189 chapters. 65 of the 66 books never write it. A verse that tells of this subject without writing the name is not counted here.
