What happens here
Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
An Egyptian servant named Jarha entered Sheshan’s family by marriage, and the genealogy continued through their son Attai.
Judah’s crowded beginningvv. 1–24
The list begins with the twelve sons of Israel, then narrows briskly to Judah. Er was wicked in the sight of the LORD and was put to death; Tamar then bore Judah Perez and Zerah, giving the family tree a remarkably eventful opening. From Perez came Hezron, and from Hezron came Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb. Ram’s line runs through Nahshon, Salmon, Boaz, Obed, Jesse, and David, while Caleb’s line branches through Azubah, Ephrath, Hur, Uri, and Bezalel. There is also a curious pause in the timing: after Hezron died in Caleb-ephrathah, his wife Abijah bore Ashhur. The text supplies the sentence and leaves the clock to fend for itself.
Jerahmeel’s line, and Jarha’s marriagevv. 25–41
Jerahmeel’s descendants proceed through Ram, Onam, Shammai, Jada, and Jonathan, with several deaths carefully noted for their lack of children. Sheshan, descended from this branch, had no sons, only daughters, and an Egyptian servant named Jarha. Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha, and their son Attai stands at the head of a long succession reaching to Elishama. The genealogy is perfectly willing to make a servant, a marriage, and one son do the work of an entire bridge.
Caleb’s branches and the names at the edgevv. 42–55
The other Caleb line runs through Mesha, Mareshah, Hebron, and their descendants, while Caleb’s concubines Ephah and Maacah supply further branches. The name Gazez appears among Ephah’s children and then appears again as Haran’s son; the text does not pause to say whether this is one Gazez or two. Hur’s descendants lead to Kiriath-jearim, Bethlehem, and Beth-gader, and the final verses gather clans, scribes, Kenites, and the house of Rechab around their named places. A genealogy that began with Israel’s sons ends with an impressive thicket of families and settlements—less a tree than a hedge with opinions.

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.

Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
