What happens here
Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
The offerings rose into great heaps for four months, and when Hezekiah came to inspect the extraordinary harvest, the priest’s explanation was wonderfully practical: there was enough to eat, with plenty left over.
The old arrangements come downvv. 1–4
When the gathering ended, the Israelites went through Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh, breaking up sacred pillars, chopping down Asherah poles, and tearing down the high places and altars. Having made a thorough business of it, they returned to their own cities. Hezekiah then restored the divisions of priests and Levites for offerings, ministry, thanksgiving, and singing, supplied the regular offerings from his own possessions, and commanded Jerusalem to provide for the priests and Levites.
The heaps and their explanationvv. 5–10
The order went out, and the contributions arrived in astonishing quantity: firstfruits, produce, herds, flocks, and holy things. They were laid in large heaps, begun in the third month and finished in the seventh. Hezekiah and his officials came to look at them, blessed the LORD and Israel, and then questioned the priests and Levites. Azariah answered that the people had brought so much that there was enough to eat and an abundance remaining.
The abundance acquires an officevv. 11–21
Hezekiah ordered storerooms to be prepared in the house of the LORD, and the contributions, tithes, and dedicated gifts were faithfully brought in. Conaniah took charge, with his brother Shimei second; overseers served under them, while Kore, son of Imnah, handled the freewill offerings at the East Gate. Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah distributed portions to priests in their cities, according to their divisions, and the register extended from males aged three and upward to priests and Levites in their families. It included little ones, wives, sons, and daughters as well. Hezekiah’s work throughout Judah is summed up plainly: he did what was good, upright, and true, and acted with all his heart in the service of the house of God, the law, and the commandments.

2 Chr 31:1When all this had ended, the Israelites in attendance went out to the cities of Judah and broke up the sacred pillars, chopped down the Asherah poles, and tore down the high places and altars throughout Judah and Benjamin, as well as in Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the Israelites returned to their cities, each to his own property.
2 Chr 31:2Hezekiah reestablished the divisions of the priests and Levites—each of them according to their duties as priests or Levites—for the burnt offerings and peace offerings, for ministry, for giving thanks, and for singing praises at the gates of the LORD’s dwelling.
2 Chr 31:3The king contributed from his own possessions for the regular morning and evening burnt offerings and for the burnt offerings on the Sabbaths, New Moons, and appointed feasts, as written in the Law of the LORD.
2 Chr 31:4Moreover, he commanded the people living in Jerusalem to make a contribution for the priests and Levites so that they could devote themselves to the Law of the LORD.
2 Chr 31:5As soon as the order went out, the Israelites generously provided the firstfruits of the grain, new wine, oil, and honey, and of all the produce of the field, and they brought in an abundance—a tithe of everything.
2 Chr 31:6And the Israelites and Judahites who lived in the cities of Judah also brought a tithe of their herds and flocks and a tithe of the holy things consecrated to the LORD their God, and they laid them in large heaps.
2 Chr 31:7In the third month they began building up the heaps, and they finished in the seventh month.
2 Chr 31:8When Hezekiah and his officials came and viewed the heaps, they blessed the LORD and His people Israel.
2 Chr 31:9Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and Levites about the heaps,
2 Chr 31:10and Azariah, the chief priest of the household of Zadok, answered him, “Since the people began to bring their contributions into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and there is plenty left over, because the LORD has blessed His people; this great abundance is what is left over.”
2 Chr 31:11Then Hezekiah commanded them to prepare storerooms in the house of the LORD, and they did so.
2 Chr 31:12And they faithfully brought in the contributions, tithes, and dedicated gifts. Conaniah the Levite was the officer in charge of them, and his brother Shimei was second.
2 Chr 31:13Jehiel, Azaziah, Nahath, Asahel, Jerimoth, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismachiah, Mahath, and Benaiah were overseers under the authority of Conaniah and his brother Shimei, by appointment of King Hezekiah and of Azariah the chief official of the house of God.
2 Chr 31:14Kore son of Imnah the Levite, the keeper of the East Gate, was in charge of the freewill offerings given to God, distributing the contributions to the LORD and the consecrated gifts.
2 Chr 31:15Under his authority, Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah faithfully distributed portions to their fellow priests in their cities, according to their divisions, old and young alike.
2 Chr 31:16In addition, they distributed portions to the males registered by genealogy who were three years of age or older—to all who would enter the house of the LORD for their daily duties for service in the responsibilities of their divisions—
2 Chr 31:17and to the priests enrolled according to their families in the genealogy, as well as to the Levites twenty years of age or older, according to their responsibilities and divisions.
2 Chr 31:18The genealogy included all the little ones, wives, sons, and daughters of the whole assembly. For they had faithfully consecrated themselves as holy.
2 Chr 31:19As for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, who lived on the farmlands around each of their cities or in any other city, men were designated by name to distribute a portion to every male among the priests and to every Levite listed by the genealogies.
2 Chr 31:20So this is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah. He did what was good and upright and true before the LORD his God.
2 Chr 31:21He acted with all his heart in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law and the commandments, in order to seek his God. And so he prospered.

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.
Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
