The chapter

What happens here

Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.

A rejected building stone becomes the cornerstone, and the psalm offers no foreman’s explanation for the astonishing promotion.

The cry and the answervv. 1–9

The song opens by summoning Israel, the house of Aaron, and all who fear the LORD into one repeated sentence. Then a distressed voice tells of being answered and set free, standing under the LORD’s protection while human strength, even princely strength, is politely demoted.

Bees, thorns, and survivalvv. 10–18

The enemies arrive in every available direction: nations surround the speaker, then swarm like bees, only to be extinguished like burning thorns. The speaker has been pushed nearly to a fall, but the LORD helps; the result is not a quiet escape but shouts in the tents of the righteous and a vow to live long enough to proclaim what happened.

The gate, the stone, and the altarvv. 19–29

The rescued speaker asks for the gates of righteousness and is told that the LORD’s gate is where the righteous enter. Then comes the splendid architectural surprise: the rejected stone is now the cornerstone. Joy follows, alongside a prayer for salvation, a blessing from the house of the LORD, and the wonderfully practical instruction to fasten the festal sacrifice to the altar’s horns.

Who else the chapter reaches

Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.

Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
