What happens here

Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.

David asks forgiveness because his iniquity is great, then watches for the LORD to free his feet from a mesh.

A lesson in the LORD’s waysvv. 1–14

David lifts his soul to the LORD and waits to be taught: ways, paths, truth, and the chosen path. The prayer moves through compassion, old sins, humility, covenant, and the rather striking argument that forgiveness is needed precisely because the iniquity is great. The LORD is good and upright, and so—quite unexpectedly—shows sinners the way.

The mesh and the many enemiesvv. 15–22

Then the prayer turns from steady attention to the LORD to feet caught in a mesh, loneliness, multiplying troubles, sins, and enemies with vicious hatred. David asks to be guarded and delivered, appealing to integrity while he waits. At the very end, the scope widens: Israel too is brought into the plea for redemption from distress.

Who else the chapter reaches

Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.

Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
