The chapter
What happens here
Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
Dimon’s waters are already full of blood when the final sentence sends more upon them—and then produces a lion for Moab’s fugitives.
A night of ruin, and no quiet cornervv. 1–4
The burden opens with two cities destroyed on the same astonishing timetable: Ar and Kir, each ruined “in a night.” Then the mourning spreads outward. Dibon goes up to its temple, Moab wails over Nebo and Medeba, heads and beards are shaved, sackcloth appears in streets and on rooftops, and the cries of Heshbon and Elealeh travel as far as Jahaz. Even the soldiers cry out, with their souls trembling within them.
The fugitives, the dried waters, and the lionvv. 5–9
The scene becomes a flight. The heart of the speaker cries out over Moab as fugitives reach Zoar and the remarkably named Eglath-shelishiyah, climbing Luhith and lamenting along the road to Horonaim. Meanwhile the waters of Nimrim dry up, the grass withers, and the greenery vanishes; wealth and belongings are carried over the Brook of the Willows. The outcry then forms its own geography, echoing to Moab’s border, Eglaim, and Beer-elim. At the end, Dimon’s waters are full of blood, more is promised upon Dimon, and a lion is set upon the fugitives and the remnant of the land. It is a very crowded final image.

Isa 15:1This is the burden against Moab: Ar in Moab is ruined, destroyed in a night! Kir in Moab is devastated, destroyed in a night!
Isa 15:2Dibon goes up to its temple to weep at its high places. Moab wails over Nebo, as well as over Medeba. Every head is shaved, every beard is cut off.
Isa 15:3In its streets they wear sackcloth; on the rooftops and in the public squares they all wail, falling down weeping.
Isa 15:4Heshbon and Elealeh cry out; their voices are heard as far as Jahaz. Therefore the soldiers of Moab cry out; their souls tremble within.
Isa 15:5My heart cries out over Moab; her fugitives flee as far as Zoar, as far as Eglath-shelishiyah. With weeping they ascend the slope of Luhith; they lament their destruction on the road to Horonaim.
Isa 15:6The waters of Nimrim are dried up, and the grass is withered; the vegetation is gone, and the greenery is no more.
Isa 15:7So they carry their wealth and belongings over the Brook of the Willows.
Isa 15:8For their outcry echoes to the border of Moab. Their wailing reaches Eglaim; it is heard in Beer-elim.
Isa 15:9The waters of Dimon are full of blood, but I will bring more upon Dimon—a lion upon the fugitives of Moab and upon the remnant of the land.

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.
